Leading Multivendor Resource for Telephony Communications Launches Tour in Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS, April 3, 2006 --- Unimax—the industry-leading provider of communications system-management software—today announced that it will host seminars throughout the United States to help telecommunications executives, managers and administrators understand the value of voice/data convergence as a key strategy for meeting business objectives and simplify migration to Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). The first “Truth about Convergence” seminar is in Minneapolis on Thursday, April 27, 8:00 a.m.–10:00 a.m., at the Airport Hilton, Bloomington.
Unimax is the only company that offers a provisioning solution that supports a wide range of IP, as well as TDM, communications products for multi-vendor environments, making it the leader in this market. Unimax CEO Andrew Hunkins, who is also chairman of the national VoIP Consortium, noted that VoIP technology has elevated telephony to a key role in supporting business strategy. “It’s really about implementing voice/data convergence in a way that adds value to a company’s business processes and improves the way they do business. Voice and data convergence offers companies benefits that are often unrealized because the technology isn’t being leveraged to improve efficiencies.”
The seminar was designed to accomplish three goals. The first goal is to demonstrate how IP-telephony systems can integrate more tightly with and streamline business processes; second, to simplify the complex process of managing telephony database changes through the use of the relevant tools; and, third, to help in the migration to a VoIP communication system.
The multi-vendor, platform-independent telecommunications system management tools company will outline how best to prepare five key areas for administering IP-systems, devices and applications on telecom networks. Its 2nd Nature®-based telephony-management solutions enable VoIP users to fully leverage VoIP technology.
In addition to Minneapolis, the company’s presentation schedule includes Los Angeles, Boston, Atlanta, Chicago, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and central New Jersey over the next two months.
